Yesterday, I went to the Secret Garden (at the Central Huntington Beach Library) with my friend Amanda. We meant to take a practice SAT test, but instead, we made our way to the garden in the back.
I liked this photo because of its irony; it looks as if she doesn’t care about the beauty of nature and is solely focused on her phone. Though in reality, she was just admiring the pictures she took of the surrounding trees.
Something valuable I learned from this simple, relaxing afternoon is the importance of laying back and ignoring your responsibilities for just a bit–so you can stop worrying about everything you need to do.
